Danh Chieu Linh, 25, of Kien Giang, Vietnam almost won Mister Global 2021 in Maha Sarakham, Thailand on March 15, 2022. He was first runner-up.

Founded in 2014 and based in Bangkok, Thailand, Mister Global is one of the six grand slam international male beauty pageants. The other are Mister World, Mister International, Mister Supranational, Man of the World and Manhunt International.

Sophicha Apichonsantad and Kuntida Muntrikaeo hosted the Mister Global 2021 coronation night. Reigning Mister Global 2019 Kim Jongwoo (김종우) , 25, of South Korea was one of the judges along with Suchar Sarachan, Alex Xavier, Dr. Jaturong Mairae, Paweena Natasin, Phongsri Wangwan, Ratchanee Phromphaeng, Ratchanee Vorcharttrakul, Praiya Bunmee, Lakkhana Methanithikunt, Chanat Kansut, Sirichai Siripai, Kampol Thongchai, Kesinee Meesakunthawon and Patima Laochai.

It was the seventh edition of Mister Global. Including Danh, 33 men competed for the title, which was won by Miguel Angel Lucas Carrasco, 21, of Spain.

While Danh is first runner-up, Dongwoo Shin, 30, of South Korea is second runner-up. Juan Carlos da Silva, 21, of Venezuela is third runner-up and Gabriel Alejandro Ortiz Aguayo, 22, of Mexico is fourth runner-up.

Born and raised in Vĩnh Phước B, Kien Giang, Vietnam, Danh is a farmer, a model and an entrepreneur of Khmer descent. He currently works and lives in Bảo Lâm, Lâm Đồng, Vietnam.

Danh loves travelling and sports. Two years after finishing in the Top 10 at Mister Vietnam 2019, he was appointed as Mister Global Vietnam 2021.
