MetaMoon Music Festival to feature Lay Zhang, 9m88, ØZI, Karencici, Sury Su in Brooklyn, New York City

The inaugural edition of the MetaMoon Music Festival will be headlined by K-pop boy band Exo member Lay Zhang, 30. He will be joined by “9m88” Tang Yuqi, 31, “ØZI” Stefan Chen Yi-fan, 25, “Karencici” Lin Kai-Lun, 24, and Sury Su, 21.

Founded by Hong Kong-based Graceful Media, the MetaMoon Music Festival aims to bridge the gap between Asia and the United States and show that music is a universal language. Produced in partnership with Live Nation, the festival’s inaugural edition will take place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on November 26, 2022.

“There is a great need for stronger Asian representation in pop culture and in the media and the mission of MetaMoon Music Festival is to give artists the ability to shine from a prominent stage in the heart of Brooklyn,” Graceful Media founder Grace Chen said. “Now more than ever, music is truly a global language and talent, no matter where they come from, will resonate with fans across cultures if given the opportunity to share their passion and creativity.”

More artists and special guests will join Zhang, 9m88, Karencici, ØZI and Su at the inaugural MetaMoon Music Festival, which will be hosted by MC Jin. Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on July 15, 2022 and can be purchased online at seatgeek.com and barclayscenter.com

The MetaMoon Music Festival will showcase the global reach and impact of Asian artists, music and fans while emphasizing the culturally rich and diverse communities across New York City, which has the largest Asian-American population in the U.S. This makes Barclays Center the percent venue for the festival.
