Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio, 31, of the Philippines will fight “The Running Man” Song Min Jong, 28, of South Korea at “ONE: Inside the Matrix 3.” It will be the Filipino MMA fighter’s first fight during the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Eustaquio is a former ONE Flyweight World Champion. He is based in Baguio City, Philippines and is training at Team Lakay in La Trinidad, Benguet, Philippines.

“For me, I took the lockdown as a good thing,” Eustaquio said. “I got to spend time with my family and friends. Thankfully, being in Baguio City, I could still enjoy going for a dirt bike ride in the mountains or horseback riding. I am very lucky to be living in Baguio.”

The last time Eustaquio competed was on November 8, 2019. He knocked out Toni “Dynamite” Tauru, 35, of Finland at “ONE: Masters of Fate” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Featuring five MMA matches, “ONE: Inside the Matrix 3” will take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore on November 13, 2020. In the co-main event of the evening, Eustaquio and Song will battle it out at a catch weight of 64 kg.

Competing professionally since 2010, Song will make his ONE Championship debut at “ONE: Inside the Matrix 3.” He is coming out of two ONE Warrior Series wins.

On April 25, 2019, Song submitted Alan “The Apprentice” Philpott, 28, of Northern Ireland at “ONE Warrior Series 5” in Singapore. On October 5, 2019, the Korean MMA fighter defeated Kodai “Jake” Murata, 28, of Japan via unanimous decision at “ONE Warrior Series 8” in Japan.

The catchweight contest with Song will be Eustaquio’s 18th ONE Championship fight. The Filipino MMA fighter has been competing in the Singapore-based martial arts promotion since 2012.

Filipino fight fans can watch “ONE: Inside the Matrix 3” on November 13, 2020 at 8:30 p.m. on One Sports+. They can also watch it on One Sports on a same-day delay at 9 p.m. and on TV5 on a next-day delay at 11 p.m.
