Kevin “The Silencer” Belingon, 32, of Ifugao, Philippines will fight John “Hands of Stone” Lineker, 30, of Parana, Brazil at “ONE: Inside the Matrix 3.” In ONE Championship’s ranking for bantamweight MMA fighters, they are currently first and fifth, respectively.

Featuring five MMA matches, “ONE: Inside the Matrix 3” will take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore on November 13, 2020. In the main event of the evening, Belingon and Lineker will battle it out in the bantamweight division.

“ONE: Inside the Matrix 3” marks Lineker’s second outing in ONE Championship. In his promotional debut at “ONE: Dawn of Valor” on October 25, 2019 in Jakarta, Indonesia, he defeated Muin “Tajik” Gafurov, 24, of Dushanbe, Tajikistan via unanimous decision.

Born in Paranaguá, Paraná on June 12, 1990, Lineker is a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He made his professional MMA debut in 2008.

Lineker won four bouts in Jungle Fight in 2011 before joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2012. From May 2012 to April 2019, he competed in 16 UFC fights, winning 12.

Currently, Lineker holds a professional MMA record of 32 wins and 9 losses. On the other hand, Belingon has 20 wins and 7 losses.

In 2007, Belingon made his professional MMA debut and was undefeated until 2011. When he joined ONE Championship in 2012, his undefeated record was broken by two consecutive losses to Masakazu “Ashikan Judan” Imanari, 44, of Japan at “ONE: War of the Lions” in Singapore and Soo Chul Kim, 28, of South Korea at “ONE: Pride of Nation” in the Philippines.

Before 2012 ended, Belingon earned his first ONE Champion victory by knocking out Yusup “Maestro” Saadulaev, 35, of Russia at “ONE: Rise of Kings” in Singapore. The Filipino MMA fighter went on to fight Bibiano “The Flash” Fernandes, 40, of Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil four times between 2016 and 2019.

Fernandes became the ONE Bantamweight World Champion on October 18, 2013. Belingon unsuccessfully challenged the Brazilian champion on January 23, 2016 at “ONE: Dynasty of Champions 5” in China.

On November 9, 2018, Belingon became the new ONE Bantamweight World Champion by dethroning Fernandes at “ONE: Heart of a Lion” in Singapore on November 9, 2018. The Brazilian MMA veteran regained the title by dethroning his Filipino rival at “ONE: A New Era” in Japan on March 31, 2019.

On October 13, 2019, Fernandes and Belingon battled it out at “ONE: Century” in Japan, marking their fourth fight. The Brazilian champion successfully defended his belt from his Filipino challenger again.

Belingon trains at Team Lakay in La Trinidad, Benguet, Philippines. His teammate Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio, 31, will co-headline “ONE: Inside the Matrix 3” with ONE Warrior Series alum “The Running Man” Song Min Jong, 28, of South Korea.
