The second round of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Hana Financial Group (HFG) Championship 2020 took place at the Sky72 Ocean Course on Yeongjong Island in Incheon, South Korea on November 6, 2020. Defending champion Ha Na Jang remains at the top of the leaderboard while Se Lin Hyun moves up 20 positions.

The tournament is broadcast live in 17 countries across Asia Pacific region including Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, India and Malaysia. Here is an interview with Jang after the second round:

How was the second round of the tournament for you?

I am pleased with my performance today despite the one bogey made on the 16th hole. Today’s bogey is a lesson learnt for the remaining rounds. My only concern for the  upcoming days will be the strong wind that is forecasted but I believe that tournament will conclude on a successful note.

What went well today?

I played safe and easy in this round just like I did yesterday. I was able to make birdies by  keeping the balls in the fairways and the greens as much as possible. I hope to continue the  streak in the upcoming rounds.

How did the bogey on the 16th hole happen?

The weather took a sudden dip in temperature when I was making a second shot. There was also a little more distance left than expected due to the shorter choice of club. I am glad this was the only mistake.

What are your goals for this tournament?

Initially, I expected that making 2-under par every round would get me close to the winning  score. However, with two rounds completed, I think the winning score would be from 10-under  par to 12-under. I am aiming to reduce the score as much as possible before the forecasted winds and playing safe especially when I am in the leading group.
