“I Got You” is an upcoming romance drama series set to premiere on TV5 on October 18, 2020. Beauty Gonzales, Jane Oineza and RK Bagatsing play the main characters.

The story of “I Got You” revolves around Del (Gonzales), a therapist who returns to the Philippines from Spain after 17 years. She will encounter her former boyfriend Louie (Bagatsing).

A former soldier suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, Louie seeks out psychiatric help leading him to Del. It gave him a new reason to live but he is currently engaged to Rizza (Oineza), a beauty vlogger.

Produced by block timer Brighlight Productions, “I Got You” is one of the many new shows TV5 viewers can expect before 2020 ends. Its three lead stars are previous artists of ABS-CBN.

“It’s time that all of us should work together,” Brightlight Productions president and CEO Albee Benitez said. “Right now, I don’t think there should be a network war.”

TV5’s programming partner and major block timer Cignal TV continues to forge new partnerships and collaborations. The network can definitely promise bigger and better months in store for its viewers in the last quarter of 2020.

The news of the partnership of TV5 with block timers comes months after Cignal TV and TV5 chairman Manny V. Pangilinan declared an open invitation in August 2020. Viva also has a long-standing partnership with Cignal TV.

“We’re very happy that Viva’s partnership with Cignal and TV5 has been going strong, given that our joint venture company SSNI is now on its fifth year,” Viva president and COO Vincent del Rosario said. “I guess what makes it fun working with the group is the collaborative nature of the relationship where each side has an equal say on the creative direction to take in every project. As for the effect that this will bring to the industry, we believe that this will not only bring some parity in the network wars but will also open more job opportunities for the artists and the creative and production communities.”

Directed by Dan Villegas, “I Got You” airs on TV5 every Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Here is a trailer:
