South Korea’s Sung Bin Jo to join Professional Fighters League’s 2021 season

“Korean Falcon” Jo Sung Bin (조성빈), 28, of Seoul, South Korea has joined the Professional Fighters League. The Korean mixed martial artist will make his PFL debut in 2021.

Born in Seoul on July 17, 1992, Jo stands 6’0″ and competes in the featherweight division. He has been competing professionally since 2014 and currently holds a professional MMA record of 9 wins and 1 loss.

The Seoul native held the championship titles of A-Toys Challenge Fight (ACF) and Wardog Cage Fight (WCF) in the featherweight division. He began his professional MMA career on a nine-fight win streak from 2014 to 2018 with all coming via stoppage.

On June 1, 2019, Jo made his debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He had his first professional MMA loss in the hands of Daniel “Kid Dynamite” Teymur, 32, of Stockholm, Sweden via unanimous decision at “UFC Fight Night 153” at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm.

Jo has not competed since “UFC Fight Night 153.” He will make his comeback in the 2021 PFL season.

The 2021 PFL season will begin in April 2020. The events will be broadcast live by premium sports networks in 160 countries around the world and by ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+ in the U.S.
