Daneliya Tuleshova biography: 13 things about Kazakh singer

Daneliya Tuleshova is a Kazakh artist who participated in several international singing competitions. Here are 13 facts about her:


  1. She was born to Alexander Tuleshov and Elena Tuleshova on July 18, 2006 in Kazakhstan’s capital Nur-Sultan, which was known as Astana from 1998 to 2019.
  2. She has one younger brother named Timur and one younger sister named Amelie. Timur studies judo and programming while Amelie is taking ballet classes.
  3. In 2010, she suffered an injury from gymnastics. It prevented her from participating in extracurricular activities and sports until 2012.
  4. In 2012, she won ballroom dancing competitions. In the same year, she took acting, singing and contemporary dance classes in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
  5. In 2015, she won “Ayaglagan Astana,” a singing competition in Kazakhstan. In the same year, she competed in “Children’s New Wave,” a television project produced by Russian composer Igor Krutoy, made it to the finals and won the Audience Award.
  6. In 2016, she released two Russian songs titled “Космос” (Cosmos) and “Другие” (Others).
  7. In January 2017, she won the grand prize of the international singing competition “Hopes of Europe.”
  8. She won “The Voice Kids Ukraine” Season 4, which aired on 1+1 from November 5, 2017 to December 17, 2017. She is the first non-Ukrainian winner of the reality singing show competition.
  9. In March 2018, she won the Glimpse into the Future Award at the inaugural International Professional Music Premium Bravo Awards in Moscow, Russia.
  10. On November 25, 2018, she represented Kazakhstan in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 at the Minsk-Arena in Minsk, Belarus where she sang “Ózińe sen,” a song she co-wrote with Artyom Kuz’menkov and Kamila Dairova and composed by Ivan Lopukhov. She finished in sixth place.
  11. She participated in the reality talent competition TV series “The World’s Best” Season 1, which aired on CBS from from February 3, 2019 to March 13, 2019. She finished in the Top 8 along with puppetry performers Dundu of Germany, singing trio TNT Boys of the Philippines and magician Justin Flom of the United States.
  12. She was supposed to have a concert in Texas, USA in 2020 but it was cancelled because of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
  13. She made it to the finals of “America’s Got Talent” Season 15, which aired on NBC from May 26, 2020 to September 23, 2020.
