Christina Stelliou vs Casey O’Neill at ‘UAE Warriors 13’ in Abu Dhabi, UAE

 

Christina “Charis” Stelliou, 24, of Athens, Greece and Casey “King” O’Neill, 22, of Queensland, Australia will battle it out at “UAE Warriors 13” in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on September 25, 2020. Both mixed martial artists are UAE Warriors debutantes.

Born in Scotland on October 7, 1997, O’Neill stands 5’6″ and competes in the flyweight division. As an amateur fighter, she competed from July 2014 to February 2019 and had 5 wins and 2 losses.

As a professional MMA fighter, O’Neill had four bouts in Eternal MMA. She is undefeated with four wins.

Currently riding a two-bout winning streak, Stelliou had 1 win and 1 loss as an amateur and has 6 wins and 3 losses as a professional. Out of her 6 professional wins, 4 were via technical knockout, 1 was via submission and 1 was via unanimous decision.

When Stelliou made her professional MMA debut on January 18, 2015, she was submitted by her fellow Athens native Foteini Kromida. After going on hiatus in 2016, Stelliou made a successful comeback on February 25, 2017 at “Cage Survivor- New Blood 3” where she knocked out her fellow Greek MMA fighter Eleni Gathi.

In 2018, Stelliou defeated three opponents namely Nikolina Katic, 21, of Croatia, Marina Mihajlicin of Serbia and Vesela Rogaska, 20, of Bulgaria. In 2019, Stelliou defeated Zhang Meng of China and Anastazija Petrovic of Montenegro.

Managed by MTK MMA, Stelliou trains out of Spartakos Nikaias in Nikaia, Greece. She is a former Sanda champion and is sponsored by Athlon, Seven Hellas, Mary Ioannidou, Herbalife and Sports Physio Med.
