Two World Boxing Council titles on the line with “SFC 8: Renegades of Fight,” the eight event of Singapore Fighting Championship. The combat sports event will take place at the Singapore Foochow Association in Singapore on September 28, 2019.

One of the WBC belts will be contested in the co-main event. Undefeated boxer Rey “The Future” Caitom, 33, of the Philippines will face Elias Nggenggo, 30, of Indonesia for the WBC Asian Boxing Council Minimum title in a 10-round contest.

The undefeated Filipino boxer, who since returned to professional boxing after a 12-year retirement, has had two victories. One was from a unanimous decision and the other was from a TKO against tough and experienced opposition.

Holding a professional boxing record of 8 wins, 0 loss and 1 draw, Caitom has high aims to remain undefeated throughout his boxing career. In order to do that, he will have to overcome his Indonesian opposition who is hungry for a win after consecutive losses.

On the other hand, Nggenggo is deemed as a very fortunate man to many with the opportunity to be given a chance to compete for the prestigious title with the record of 10 wins, 13 losses and 3 draws. However, he cannot be counted out.

This fight could be the biggest upset if the highly motivated Indonesian boxer manages to pull off a victory over the undefeated Filipino boxer. The former is set to prove that a fighter should not be judged by his record.

In the main event of the evening, Nurshahidah “The Sniper” Roslie, 31, of Singapore will go head to head with undefeated boxer, Fan Yin, 22, of Chengdu, Sichuan, China, which is known by many to be the home to China’s cute giant pandas. They will compete for the vacant WBC Silver Female Super Bantamweight title.

Early bird tickets are at $45 at Juggernaut Fight Club in Singapore and other partnering gyms from August 23, 2019 to September 28, 2019 and tickets will be sold at $50 at the door during fight night. Meanwhile, here is a clip featuring Caitom:
