Fighting out of Indonesia, Toreq, 25, was one of the winners at “Rich Franklin’s ONE Warriors Series” Season 7. It was his first bout in the ONE Championship subsidiary headed by mixed martial arts veteran Rich “Ace” Franklin, 44, of the United States.
ONE Championship held “ONE Warrior Series 7” in Singapore on August 6, 2019 featuring one Muay Thai contest and 14 professional MMA matches. In the third bout of the evening, Toreq competed in an MMA match in the strawweight division against Hidayat “Dayat” Abdul, 29, of Brunei Darussalam.

The referee put a stop to the strawweight contest. Toreq knocked out Abdul after 4 minutes and 41 seconds in the first round.
Winning at “ONE Warrior Series 7” improved the professional MMA record of Toreq to 3 wins and 3 losses. On the other hand, Abdul now has 1 win and 1 loss.
“ONE Warrior Series 7” marked Toreq’s sixth professional MMA bout. His first five bouts were in One Pride MMA.

Including Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia, 16 countries were represented at “ONE Warrior Series 7.” The others were Australia, Brazil, India, Iran, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Northern Ireland, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, the U.S. and Vietnam.
Brunei Darussalam had two representatives namely Abdul and Adib “Deep” Sulaiman, 28. Toreq solely represented Indonesia.
Sulaiman competed in an MMA match in the strawweight division. He was knocked out by Ismael Bandiwan, 23, of the Philippines.
Toreq is training out of Bali MMA in Bali, Indonesia. Abdul is training out of Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei.
