Malaysia and the Philippines were among the countries represented at the ONE Championship event titled “ONE: Masters of Destiny” on July 12, 2019. The fight card featured mixed martial arts matches as well as ONE Super Series contests including Muay Thai and kickboxing bouts.
ONE Championship held “ONE: Masters of Destiny” at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In the 11th bout of the evening, Jihin “Shadow Cat” Radzuan, 20, of Johor Bahru, Malaysia faced Jomary “The Zamboanganian Fighter” Torres, 23, of Zamboanga, Philippines.
Blue Corner
Torres is training out of is training out of Catalan Fighting System in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines. “ONE: Masters of Destiny” marked her seventh ONE Championship outing.
Red Corner
Radzuan is training out of is training out of Ultimate MMA Academy in Johor Bahru. “ONE: Masters of Destiny” marked her fifth ONE Championship outing.
Results
Yoshiniro Umeki was the referee of the bout between Radzuan and Torres, who competed in an MMA match in the women’s atomweight division. It was the sixth MMA bout of the evening.
Umeki put a stop to the atomweight bout after 3 minutes and 7 seconds in the first round. Radzuan submitted Torres via triangle choke.
Winning at “ONE: Masters of Destiny” improved the professional MMA record of Radzuan to 5 wins and 1 loss. On the other hand, Torres now has 4 wins and 4 losses.

Including Malaysia and the Philippines, 20 countries were represented at “ONE: Masters of Destiny.” The others were Australia, Brazil, China, Finland, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Myanmar, New Zealand, Scotland, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor Leste, Vietnam and the United States.
Radzuan was one of the four fighters who represented Malaysia. Torres solely represented the Philippines.
