Indonesia and Myanmar were among the 15 countries represented at “ONE: Legendary Quest.” On the card were both mixed martial arts matches and ONE Super Series contests, featuring both kickboxing and Muay Thai.
ONE Championship held “ONE: Legendary Quest” at the Baoshan Arena in Shanghai, China on June 15, 2019. The first bout of the evening was between Victorio “Indra” Senduk, 37, of Bandung, Indonesia and Phoe “Bushido” Thaw, 34, of Yangon, Myanmar.
Senduk was one of the two athletes who represented Indonesia at “ONE: Legendary Quest” while Thaw solely represented Myanmar. Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, Japan, Malaysia, Morocco, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Scotland, South Korea, Thailand and the United Kingdom were also represented.
On June 12, 2019, Senduk and Thaw had their official face-off during the press conference at Yunspace in Shanghai. The event was graced by ONE Championship Greater China chairman Hua Fung Teh and reigning ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan, 31, of China.
Born in Myanmar on November 9, 1984, Thaw earned his bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Dagon University. He is representing Team PT and Fight for Good.
“ONE: Legendary Quest” marked Thaw’s ninth ONE Championship bout. He made his professional MMA debut in 2015 and was the champion of the ONE Myanmar Featherweight Tournament.
Born in Indonesia on June 20, 1981, Senduk is representing Team Electra. He started his training in karate when he was 14 years old.
“ONE: Legendary Quest” marked Senduk’s fifth ONE Championship bout. Competing professionally since 2012, he is a former Indonesian Badass Championship Featherweight Champion.
Senduk and Thaw competed in an MMA match in the featherweight division. Kemp Cheng served as the referee.
Cheng put a stop to the featherweight contest after 4 minutes and 17 seconds in the first round. Thaw knocked out Senduk.
Winning at “ONE: Legendary Quest” improved the professional MMA record of Thaw: to 8 wins and 1 loss. On the other hand, Senduk now has 3 wins and 3 losses.

Agilan “Alligator” Thani, 23, of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia faced ONE Championship debutante Yoshihiro “Sexyama” Akiyama, 43, of Osaka, Japan in an MMA match in the welterweight division. The Malaysian contender won via unanimous decision.
ONE Super Series debutante Alma Juniku, 18, of Australia challenged reigning ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Stamp Fairtex, 27, of Thailand in the main event. The Thai defending champion won via unanimous decision.
