India and Jordan were among the 11 countries represented at “Brave 20: Hyderabad” at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, India on December 22, 2018. It was the second event of Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion Brave Combat Federation to take place in India.
“Brave 20: Hyderabad” featured 10 MMA matches. The eighth bout of the evening was between Kantharaj Shankar Agasa, 29, of Punjab, India and Jalal Al Daaja, 31, of Amman, Jordan.

Al Daaja has been competing professionally since 2014. “Brave 20: Hyderabad” marked his fourth Brave CF bout.
When Al Daaja made his Brave CF debut at “Brave 4: Unstoppable” on March 31, 2017, he was submitted by Frans “The Black Mamba” Mlambo, 28, of Dublin, Ireland. After the loss, the Jordanian MMA fighter redeemed himself by defeating Filipino fighters Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw, 22, and Crisanto “The Slugger” Pitpitunge, 32.

At “Brave 20: Hyderabad,” Agasa entered the cage as an undefeated fighter. It marked his Brave CF debut.
Agasa competed mostly in Super Fight League. Before facing Al Daaja in the Brave CF cage, the Indian fighter had a unanimous victory at “Kumite 1 League” against Amer El Shanshory, 26, of Egypt.

Al Daaja and Agasa competed in the bantamweight division at “Brave 20: Hyderabad.” Referee Marc Goddard put a stop to the contest in the second round when the Jordanian fighter knocked out his Indian opponent.
Winning at “Brave 20: Hyderabad” Al Daaja’s professional MMA record to 6 wins and 3 losses. On the other hand, Agasa now has 10 wins and 1 loss.
“Brave 20: India” Main Events
In the co-main event of the evening, John Brewin, 24, of Auckland, New Zealand faced Anas Siraj “The Moroccan Sensation” Mounir, 32, of Morocco in the lightweight division. After three five-minute rounds, the Moroccan fighter won via unanimous decision.
In the main event, Khamzat “Borz” Chimaev of Sweden and Sidney “The All-American Kid” Wheeler, 22, of Dalton, Georgia competed in the middleweight division. The Swedish fighter knocked out his American opponent in the first round.
