England vs India: Rob Beech vs Mandeep Singh fight at ‘Brave 20: Hyderabad’

England and India were among the 11 countries represented at “Brave 20: Hyderabad” at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, India on December 22, 2018. It was the second event of Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion Brave Combat Federation to take place in India.

“Brave 20: Hyderabad” featured 10 MMA matches. The fifth bout of the evening was between  Rob “The Juggernaut” Beech of England and Mandeep Singh of India.

Both Beech and Singh made their respective Brave CF debuts at “Brave 20: Hyderabad.” They were both coming out of a loss.

Blue Corner

Singh has been competing professionally since 2017. He previously competed in three Super Fight League bouts.

When Singh made his professional MMA debut on February 10, 2017 at “SFL 2017: The War of the North,” knocked out his fellow Indian fighter Gary Dogra. Prior to “Brave 20: Hyderabad,” Singh lost to Jose “Zeca Predador” Santos, 32, of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil at “SFL 2018” on February 18, 2018.

Red Corner

Beech has been competing professionally since 2015. He previously competed in Gorilla Warfare Fighting Championship, Budo Fighting Championships and Golden Ticket Fight Promotions.

Prior to “Brave 20: Hyderabad,” Beech faced his fellow English fighter Darren “Frankenstein’s Monster” Moore at “Golden Ticket Fight Promotions: Fight Nights 5” on April 20, 2017. The former was knocked out by the latter.

Fight Result

Singh and Beech competed in the heavyweight division at “Brave 20: Hyderabad.” The English contender won via verbal submission in the first round.

Winning at “Brave 20: Hyderabad” improved Beech’s professional MMA record to 5 wins and 2 losses. On the other hand, Singh now has 2 wins and 2 losses.

“Brave 20: India” Main Events 

In the co-main event of the evening, John Brewin, 24, of Auckland, New Zealand faced Anas Siraj “The Moroccan Sensation” Mounir, 32, of Morocco in the lightweight division. After three five-minute rounds, the Moroccan fighter won via unanimous decision.

In the main event, Khamzat “Borz” Chimaev of Sweden and Sidney “The All-American Kid” Wheeler, 22, of Dalton, Georgia competed in the middleweight division. The Swedish fighter knocked out his American opponent in the first round.

 

Afghanistan, Brazil, Indonesia, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, New Zealand, Sweden and the United States were also represented at “Brave 20: Hyderabad.” Check the complete fight card on Conan Daily.
