India vs Indonesia: Satendar Bankura, Oloan Silalahi fight at ‘Brave 20: Hyderabad’

India and Indonesia were among the 11 countries that will be represented at “Brave 20: Hyderabad” at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, India on December 22, 2018. It was the second event of Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion Brave Combat Federation to take place in India.

“Brave 20: Hyderabad” featured nine MMA matches. The second bout of the evening was between two promotional debutantes Satendar Bankura, 33, of Delhi, India and Oloan Silalahi, 29, of Bali, Indonesia.

Blue Corner

Silalahi made his professional MMA debut at “Brave 20: Hyderabad.” He is training out of Bali MMA.

As a martial artist, Silalahi trained in wrestling, wushu and boxing. He previously participated in a national wresting training for the Southeast Asian Games.

Red Corner

Bankura has been competing professionally since 2012. “Brave 20: Hyderabad” marked his sixth professional MMA bout.

Before joining Brave CF, Bankura competed in five bouts in Super Fight League, winning three. He was coming out of a two-bout losing streak.

Fight Result

Silalahi and Bankura battled it out in the middleweight division at “Brave 20: India.” The referee put a stop to the contest in the first round when the Indonesian fighter knocked out his Indian opponent.

By winning at “Brave 20: Hyderabad,” Silalahi now holds a professional MMA record of 1 win and 0 loss. Meanwhile, Bankura has 3 wins and 3 losses.

“Brave 20: India” Main Events 

In the co-main event of the evening, John Brewin, 24, of Auckland, New Zealand faced Anas Siraj “The Moroccan Sensation” Mounir, 32, of Morocco in the lightweight division. After three five-minute rounds, the Moroccan fighter won via unanimous decision.

In the main event, Khamzat “Borz” Chimaev of Sweden and Sidney “The All-American Kid” Wheeler, 22, of Dalton, Georgia competed in the middleweight division. The Swedish fighter knocked out his American opponent in the first round.

Afghanistan, Brazil, England, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, New Zealand, Sweden and the United States were also represented at “Brave 20: Hyderabad.” Check the complete fight card on Conan Daily.
