Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion Brave Combat Federation hosted its 17^th event at the Nistar Park Sports Complex in Lahore, Pakistan on October 27, 2018. “Brave 17” featured 10 bouts with fighters representing 12 countries.

The fight night featured intense rounds of action featuring heated rivalries, outbursts of emotions and athletes showcasing intense showmanship. The fight night started with two inspiring bouts that set the tone for the night as two hometown heroes emerged victorious.

In the co-main event of the evening, Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw, 22, of Baguio City, Philippines and Uloomi “Kratos” Karim, 27, of Pakistan competed in the bantamweight division. In a bout that went the distance, the Filipino fighter showcased an improved level of performance to dominate the first round inflicting a lot of damage upon his Pakistani opponent.

It seemed that victory was in reach for Pacatiw. But Karim bounced back in pure display of heart grinding the Filipino fighter against the cage and busting open his nose with a series of elbows that connected.

The third round started with Pacatiw and Karim greeting each other in a pure display of heart and warrior spirit. Both fighters gave a round to remember for the fight fans in Pakistan and in the end, referee Leon Roberts raised the hand of the Filipino contender, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision.

Pacatiw thanked Karim, the Pakistani fighter’s coach and Pakistan for the welcome and sharing the cage with him for a memorable fight. It was the Filipino fighter’s fourth win in Brave CF.

On November 16, 2018, Brave CF will showcase its 18^th event in the Kingdom of Bahrain during Brave International Combat Week 2018, which is the largest combat sports festival in Asia. The fight night will feature two championship title defenses, which are for the lightweight and bantamweight divisions, and the inaugural featherweight championship.
