Masakazu “Ashikan Judan” Imanari, 42, of Japan  only needed 83 seconds to submit Radeem Rahman, 31, of Singapore with a crushing armbar at “ONE: Pursuit of Greatness.” The Japanese submission specialist put on a grappling clinic in front of a predominantly Burmese crowd at the Thuwunna Indoor Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar on October 26, 2018.

In the seventh bout of “ONE: Pursuit of Greatness,” Imanari and Rahman competed in a catch weight of 67kg. It did not take long for the Japanese fighter to impose his will on his Singaporean opponent, bringing the action to the ground with the intent to end the bout with an omoplata.

After Rahman managed to shrug off the aforementioned submission hold, Imanari quickly transitioned into armbar, forcing the Singaporean contender to wave the white flag. This marked the Japanese mixed martial arts veteran’s 26th career win by way of submission.
